There’s a choice to pick activities that are meaningful to you. Occupational Therapists often create goals for work life balance. Choose leisure activities that are meaningful. Whether your leisure activity be cooking, painting, dancing or photography, let it be meaningful to you.

Life starts somewhere.
In the Chinese and Japanese Culture pentagons are symbolic for the 5 elements of life:metal, wood, water, fire and earth. I chose succulents and air plants as my subject because these plants are very resilient to changes of the environment.

Seattle sunsets are beautiful. I remember the exact moment where I had to stop and take this photo because it gave me peace in the moment of chaos.The scene was just that perfect blue monochromatic frame. All I saw was the calming texture from the sky and water and felt peace in the midst of all the chaos of color, sound and activities in the surrounding.
Often we forget how a single tree can create an array of colorful leaves through changes in a season, just like life itself with so many facets and complexity. Who we are, all the impressions and memories through changes can be something to celebrate or cherished. These leaves had been biked and walked over, but still valiantly dust over the rained over concrete reminding me to appreciate that life is ever changing.
